For residential landscape design, we realise that the way you use your garden is unique to you and your family. Our designs reflect this, and hence you will get the best use and most enjoyment out of your garden.
From a landscape design brief, to detailed drawings, we can organise the complete job from start to finish – We can even organise ongoing maintenance of your garden to keep it looking great all year round!
We deliver ‘Inspirational Landscape and Garden Designs’ – we’d love to make yours one of them!
How We Work
Step 1 – Initial Consultation
This is when we meet you on-site to discuss your requirements. We inspect the site and ask a lot of questions to ensure we understand your vision about your new garden, such as: your budget, your lifestyle, what you would like to see in it (and what you don’t like), the age group of the people who will be using it, any special requirements (eg disability ramps, etc). A flat fee is charged for this consultation.
Step 2 – Concept Drawings
Next we prepare a concept plan (aerial view) showing hardscape (decking, pergolas, etc) and softscape (lawn, plantings etc) and any necessary elevation (pencil) drawings, to show you how certain areas/features will look. A fee is charged for this, and the cost depends on the detail of the job. (Detailed, coloured elevation drawings can be provided at additional cost).
Step 3 – Final Landscape Design
Then we meet again to present the drawings and discuss any adjustments/alterations. A final set of drawings is then drawn up. A planting scheme can be incorporated at the same time if required. A fee is charged for this, and the cost depends on the detail of the job. This plan can then be used by our/your landscaping contractor to price your job.
If you don’t already have a landscaping contractor to do your job, we have a number of hand-picked landscaping contractors who are highly skilled and professional in their approach. We select the right contractor for your particular job. Each contractor has their own strengths, eg some specialise in paving and stonework, others specialise in reticulation or water features, etc, etc.
Ongoing Maintenance of Your New garden
We can arrange for ongoing maintenance of your garden to keep it looking great all year round. (eg) fertilising, pruning, weeding, mowing, treatment of pests and prevention of plant diseases – Just ask!
